Director of Marketing WCE / ICE
As member of the senior management team of Winnipeg Commodity Exchange, later ICE Futures Canada, I was responsible for all marketing, market development, training and information management activities of the Exchange. I also provided analytical support to compliance investigations as required. I was responsible for research, analysis for, and coordination of, the redesign of all futures contracts at the exchange.

Sparks Companies, Inc
I was responsible for establishing the Canadian operation of Sparks Companies, Inc. (which later became Informa Economics, Inc) based in Winnipeg. While at Sparks, I worked on several engagements that were focused on risk management, market information and analysis systems, or commodity processing and transportation structural issues.
Vice President Integrated Malt Barley Management
Jointly with two partners, I established Integrated Malt Barley Management Ltd. (IMBM), a malt barley trading and consulting enterprise. Partnering with Interbrau GmbH of Hamburg, Germany, IMBM acted as the originator of Canadian malt barley supplying the global trades of Interbrau. Provided quality control, logistics, policy analysis, market analysis, crop analysis and risk management strategies for a variety of clients in the malt and beer sectors in North America and abroad.

Castle Currency Management
I was actively associated with Castle Currency Management (CCM), a foreign exchange management firm based in Winnipeg with offices in Toronto, ON and Austin, TX, responsible for risk advisory and strategic hedging services to clients. Clients were diverse in many areas including manufacturing and services, both exporter and importers.
